Verizon 2.1 Update may disappoint

According to this article, Verizon is stripping some stuff out of 2.1 such as the "conveyor belt" launcher, and live wallpapers. Those that are patiently waiting for 2.1 may be disappointed in the final release. Me, I'm perfectly happy with Bugless Beast which has all of the features that I liked from 2.1. Solved the problem for me about unrooting or not.

Honestly I'm not disapointed. The only thing I don't have now is live wallpaper (which is useless and just drags performace down) and the browser....and the browser is all I want....so hopefully it will be ported as soon as it comes out.

Can you at least wait for the darn update to get here before we start the negativity?

It's suppose to be phase 1, the arrival and praise. Phase 2 is about a week after the arrival. Then you can do all the complaining you want.

i wouldnt believe a thing that engadget says, they are so biased and have there head so far up apples butt that im sure they would post this just to discourage people from buying the droid

What kind of update is this I just read the teleport feature is not included , i left home without my droid and i concentrated hard and the droid did not teleport into my hand. How can you call this a revolutionary phone without this feature!

Really? Most of the latest articles have been about Nexus One....and they have all been quite praising. And the latest Droid articles are about how they are finally putting MT on the droid and breaking the iphone/droid difference wall.

They have even had articles lately calling the iPad "underwhelming"....I wouldn't say they are apple biased...CNet maybe, but not engadget.

The new Nexus One update actually teleports you to your phone! Sometimes it leaves a couple fingers behind tho.
