busybox killing me....
I'm tried to install busybox using this guide, Install Busybox | Root Your Droid , and I get stuck at "./busybox: permission denied"
A couple days ago i was messing around with DroidRootHelper which said that it had installed busybox but when i was trying a couple other guides that required busybox on rootyourdroid, they all seemed to fail when I was using the busybox commands.
Did I confuse the system with DroidRootHelper and trying to follow the other guide?
I've been messing with a lot of stuff on the phone today so I could be missing something extremely simple
Thanks in advance

Oh lord.......do you have SPRecovery installed??

Yeah, thank goodness. Looks like I'm just going to do a backup then restart lol. I'm thinking of unrooting then re-rooting and going at it again, since I went into the rooting the first time a bit blind.

Well you dont want to do a backup of your phone now...its messed up and wouldnt make sense. What I would do is just download a nandroid rom and install it. It can be a stock 2.0.1 but I think just about any of them will have root, busybox, and sprecovery already built into them..

Just realized what I typed. By 'do a backup" I meant I was going to restore a previous backup then start from there. It's been a looong day...
