I have a lot of good how to articles about music managing and battery life etc. PM me if interested.
Depends on VZW mood.... Some people say 5G but according to some actual VZW employees that are on the forums VZW has the 'ability' to tell if/when you do ANY tethering so... Technically the can bill you (or worse) for ANY tethering but the consensus is (unofficially) that they will ignore you until you go over a few Gigs. I haven't heard of anyone actually being billed/penalized yet but thatcould be for any number of reasons.

You are right to be wary. There is much bullcrap. Be wary of me too, because I may be wrong. Make up your own mind after you evaluate all the evidence and the logic. - Mark Rippetoe
Why would anyone torrent or download iso's with there phone...
Stay under 5gb and you should stay under the radar...
I've seen some stories of people using 25gb+ and not having a problem. But I smell BS.
A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

I have consistently been tethering using either pdanet tetherberry and now tethering on andriod and usually use anywhere between 3-10GB a month and not even a small peep out of verizon. i have done this for about 4 years now.
before it use to raise a flag when people went over 5gb of data on a crappy winmo phone but with todays devices which offer similar to desktop quality apps for maps, videos, music, etc id say you would have to go over 25Gb before it MAYBE raises a flag
it seems really dumb that they (and ATT, sprint, etc) limit the aircards and wifi hotspots to 5gig for 60 bucks a month when we get truly unlimited for 30 bucks. seems really strange. the people using aircards should just get a phone that can tether and do that with no restrictions for 30 bucks.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the penalty is if you are caught? Is it a per MB charge or would it be a flat fee for using the service?
