I'm at 800, and I can't make it lag, so I doubt I will go any higher.

950mhz, highest I've had was 114 F on temp...And that was after downloading a ****load and being on it for awhile...I use setcpu to turn it down when it's idling so I save battery though.

I ran 1ghz for 3-4 days and all was fine. Bugless Beast and it was very stable and heat was not a real issue.

I'm now running Beast 7.4 at 950 and it is amazingly stable. Heat still is not an issue. I have an aggressive profile in Setcpu for when I'm not using the phone. It gets up to almost 100 when I surf, play games, etc., but I'm not worried about that.

    950mhz in set CPU,

For best mix of speed/bat life/heat: change CPU governor to "power on demand" then go advanced and set the power saving bias to 70 and the up threshold to 70 and reboot, this gives optimum performance and bat life,

by default, power save bias is 0 and up threshold is 86 which results in a less responsive phone that runs at a higher average clockspeed.

settings won't be reflected until reboot.

[Credit: pc747] Do you hate the blockbuster, kindle, need for speed, and other preloaded apps you can not delete. Tired of having to sbf your phone just to get an update because you delete the bloatware. Well time for you to stand up and say NO!!!!
