Max temp while overclocking

For those of you who have overclocked their Droid and are using the Temp Monitor app, what's the hightest temperature you've had so far? I'm curious to know how much of a difference 100 mhz really makes regarding heat output (such as going from 900mhz to 1ghz). I know that there are a lot of other factors that go into this, but I'd still like to get a feel.

the highest my phone has ever gotten was 98F, and that was when it was charging

Mine was up to 120 after 100 levels of RoboDefense...jesus! I think I might scale back from 950mhz

Where are you getting this info? This chip is supposed to operate from -40º to 220º. When mine is in the car cradle plugged in it has gotten to 120º before. No problems.

I have my profile set to slow down when sleeping, I've opened it after not using it for an hour or two to find it down to 68º. It varies, but it can take the abuse.

Where did you get the information for the 220 or whatever? So you think at 950mhz it will be ok getting up to 120 degrees when playing games for 20-30 minutes?

If not, maybe I will just scale it down right before I play a game or something. It does get pretty hot. Makes my hands sweat all over the place.

smoked rom, at 800, body glove case on, 6 hr drive with nav on, charging, with sat layers on 3g... reached 124f max and stayed there the whole time.. she is still alive.. running "temp monitor" from alldroid/market

she is a heater! lol
thought about modding the case to put some ppga/ram heatsinks on it..

so what is the max out there?

Mines on 950mhz and the highest I've had is 109.4F .... No problems at all though.

running 950 highest mine has gotten is 98 degrees
