    I'm at 105 just browsing the net...

    Mine went to 115f while tethering. No problems, though I did take the battery door off to help dissipate the heat.

    There is now an option in SetCPU on the profiles for a Failsafe based on the temperature. I have the speed scaling down to 550 (from 1000) if the battery temp goes above 41c.

    ii wonder if my temps increase because I have a folded business card under the battery. Going to have to test when I get home

    Contact Motorola online and they will send you a reconfigured battery door (that stays on) at no charge-not even shipping.

    Also, I am doing a comprehensive side by side comparison of temps at 550, 800, and 950mhz and will post it in an hour or two.

    They won't respond to an email. Go to customer service on the motorola website and do an online discussion with a representative. It will only take a couple of minutes and it is worth it.. The new battery door is great.

    Looking forward to your comparison report. Make sure to remove the folded business card when you do the tests.
