question/help with installing an apk

alright so i downloaded the beautiful widgets 2.55 apk and my droid is stock aka not rooted. does it have to be for me to install it and how would i install it?

I dont think it has to be rooted. I may be wrong, did you dowload it from the market? Did you try installing it?

Use a file manager. Or try apkinstaller.

Hmmm.....Downloaded?

If you got it from the market you should have no problem. Just go into the market and go to your downloads and unistall and then re-install. Also if you got it from the market you wont find it with file manager. It will be located in the /data/app-private.
