Ok, thanks i'll give it a try. I don't believe this is where I got it from however. Where-ever it was I got it from mentioned nothing about GAPPS.

Not sure where then, it may have just been someone who uploaded the file or something like that. The thread I linked you to is a reposting from another site but it and the original one both have the GAPPS in them. Check it out and let me know.

Alright quick question, do you have to flash a different version of GAPPS everytime a new ROM is installed?

Alright, successfully flashed the GAPPS. Now I have apps like Gmail, maps, etc, but still no market? What now?

Well you can try wiping and flashing both again, do it in the same recovery session. But without knowing specifically where the ROM came from I can't even help and look in the thread to see if the market is a known issue or what a possible fix for it is.
