    HTC shift root

    My friend has the shift. He is wanting to root. He is on gingerbread 2.3. Is there a one click root method available? I have seen that you can but you have to downgrade to froyo 2.2. My question is is there one that you don't have to downgrade for? Thank you.

    Sorry but being primarily a verizon based forum makes it difficult for people to find information about phones from other carriers. Best we can do is help to Google some possible methods but unfortunately will not likely know how good they are or how/if they work.
