I rooted my droid razr about a month ago with droidrazrroot.com and have been using the built in mobile hotspot app for free >thanks to sqlite. However i wasnt super happy with it because it was buggy and half the time said no internet access on laptop. So i downloaded a couple other hotspot apps that required root. No problem right? Well they all failed due to "no root access". I opened up superuser and adjusted settings to prompt or automatically allow access to apps. I am unable to make either work. Just automatically denied.i updated superuser and attempted to update the binary. It failed due to no root access....??? I downloaded universal androot and it confirmed i still have a rooted device. Any advice would be much appreciated. My phone did just update to android 2.3.6 last week. Could that have removed my root permissions without unrooting my device? I am still on stock rom btw. Thanks.
