so power button broke, installed button remapper and doesnt work. ne help?

so i installed the buttonremapper and it let me open and says it changes the power button to watever button i want to use. than i try that button and nothing works. anyone got any suggestions or have used this and can help me? thanks.

I have a Droid 2 with a broken power button. I can make the screen come on by pressing the volumn up or down button, by sliding out the keyboard, or by rebooting it if it is being suborn by hitting cont(the arrow key above the alt key) alt delete all at once. Does not solve the app problem you mentioned but I have no problem hitting the up key.

The only precaution I took was to install Screeble Pro from the market and set it up to turn off the screen when I lay the phone down.

Which button did you try to remap? I made the camera button work like a power button when I had the problem.

i tried the camera button and the volume up button. and still nothing. idk y. maybe erase off fone than reinstall it i guess.
