    need help: osx rooting for droid x

    I'm trying to root my droid x with gingerbread on my macbook pro and I'm having troubles. I can't seem to find any info on the forums relating to OSX and rooting, everything seems to be windows based. any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to this. I tried the 1click root thing and the file i was supposed to run was a text only file and did nothing. thanks everyone!

    I think you may need a windows computer but I am not 100%.

    You could always try and use the second link in my signature and use the .602 .ISO with the root script.
