    Trouble with my HTC VIVID!! Cannot seem to root.

    Hi everyone, I have a bit more experience with Blackberries but that is old news now. I am in need of some help rooting my htc vivid. The phone is unlocked but I still cannot seem to root the phone. I am told that an unlocked Droid does not mean a unlocked boot loader. So I have tried to log into htcdev.com for the code but cannot get around the login. I am a member however, I keep looping back to their login page. I need some help.
    First do I in deed need to unlock my vivid's boot loader?

    Ok I have finally rooted now I am trying to access my wi-fi hot spot but it keeps giving me the usual "call at&t" notice. How can I bypass this? Anyone got any ideas?
