sadly i have bricked my Droid 2. i had a custom ROM installed on it no problem but then messed it up trying to install another. I have tried factory reset, and have tried sbf flashing the phone and neither have worked. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean it messed it up? Are you stuck in a boot loop or does the phone not power on at all?
I am stuck in boot loop and the battery does not charge in my phone.
Unfortunately unless you are booted into the OS you can not charge the battery. If you do not have any power left in it then you will not be able to SBF and you will need either a spare battery or a way to charge it externally.
Find a friend with a working phone or go into the store and see if they can charge your battery without the phone..

I have been using my dads droid to charge the battery. After charging it i would place it in my phone and it would power up but stay in boot loop. i tried several times to sbf recover but it keeps saying that it failed.
I am going to be at work all day today until late so I am going to make a couple suggestions of things you can try.
First make sure you are using the correct SBF. For this Google "Droid 2 Triple Threat" and one of the first few hits will be a thread that contains one I used repeatedly when I had my Droid 2. Make sure you use the full SBF and not a system only one.
If you have that one then try another version of RSD Lite. I always had luck with 4.9 but try a couple and see what happens.
And the last suggestion I have would be to try another computer, sometimes this is the push you need to get it to work.
I'll give it a try. Thanks.
I tried RSD Lite 4.9 and it worked thank you so much.
i know just enough to screw a phone up, but not enough to fix it.
while playing around with an old D2G, i did the same thing. after numerous attempts as RSDlite, i was able to resurrect it.
if i can do it, anyone can
