droid x and superuser issues plz help!!!

i rooted my friends droid x with motorola droid 3 root like i did with my droid 2, the superuser works but everytime i try to update is binary this is what happens, it updated fine on mine but it won't allow adsfree to run on his phone, I'm not a complete noob but it was my first droid x root and i want him to be satisfied with my work, can anyone help?

There is an app on the market that you can try to download and then update. It's called "Superuser Update Fixer," give that a shot and then we will go from there.

Ok no biggie. Are they running a custom ROM or anything like that? And also you could always try to delete it from the phone and just download it from the market, I have done this several times when I had issues updating it.

no roms, and i will try deleting his version of superuser app as well as the superuser on the sd that the root put on it, being i don't have his phone here i will do this later today when i see him and get back to you thanx a bunch ttys

His issue got ressolved thanks, I have a question, I'm on a droid 2 running cm7 2.3.5, is there a fairly simple way to speed up my internet?
