[Rom] Pre-pre alpha ice cream sandwich 4.0.3 for Droid 1

I figured with the many great developers and other Droid 1 addicts here I should post and update the links to the ics 4.0.3 rom for the Droid 1 here so that any of the amazing D1 developers can test it and offer tips and bug fixes and also so it can get a wider test base for finding different bugs and possible fixes
*** this is a very pre-alpha build so MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT ROM FIRST***

Current known issues-
-No audio at all on 1/22/12 build
-MUST disable both Google location services options during setup wizard otherwise it will crash
-Camera does not work period
-Signal loss often occurs after a reboot (workaround available to fix this, fixed on 1/22/12 build)
-Phone calling does not work (somewhat working fix available)
-GPS does not work
-native USB tethering does not work
-market also sometimes gives an error when downloading an app the first time you use it but usually running fix permissions in rom manager and wiping data for the market app and rebooting fixes it

Fixes-
For signal loss this usually works
in a su (superuser) terminal type (do not type OR)
radiooptions 1
OR
radiooptions 5
OR
radiooptions 0

Fix phone calling somewhat (can make/receive calls and hear audio but they can't hear you)

libaudio.so is under /lib and ap_gain.bin is under /bin
Install libaudio.so to /system/lib and ap_gain.bin to /system/bin
and match both files permissions to the other files around them

Mounting usb storage-
install the included app to /system/app (after removing ".pdf" at the end)

now repo sync should make it all the way. i posted about this in some other thread but it seems the post got lost.
other things to try:
edit repo script and replace python with pypy
use repo sync -j1 if building on oneiric to workaround buggy python

Its always helpful to have even non developers test it out to see if you can catch any little bugs others may have missed

Thanks for starting this thread, have been following thread at xda. Haven't tried rom yet as rely on my phone way to much at this time and personal time constraints to play with it. If phone gets working will be another story thou.

Thanks for posting metalspring. My D1 is retired so I'm gonna try this out sometime. I remember when someone made a honeycomb rom for the D1. It was pretty buggy too. But so was GB when it 1st came out to the D1. It's good to see people still supporting the D1.

well for the most part this rom actually runs pretty well, actually its better than some gingerbread roms on my phone, and the kicker with that? The hardware acceleration isnt even enabled yet lol...btw i will upload a usb tethering apk for this build shortly so you can mount usb storage. Kfazz included it in some builds before, just install it to /system/apps
