    Alright, I'm on the right track. Stumbled upon some problems in ADBrecovery though.

    Can't find any forum posts that guide this step by step:
    I downloaded ADB recovery from http://alldroid.org/viewtopic.php?f=259&t=1617 and did the whole update.zip thing from SD. The phone has started ADB and I see it in Device Manager.

    Update: Gotten a little further, I'm on my Milestone now via cmd... turtlesteps.

    Nate, I can now! I wrote adb shell in command prompt and now i have a # in front of whatever i write, presumably connected to the phone?

    Reading on what commands i have to use to get the nandroid backup in ma phoan
