OG droid hacked, now a brick, please help.

I just bought a new Razr for myself and gave the og Droid i had to my Twelve year old son. He is a computer freak and LOVES all things electronic. So he rooted it using super one click. No problem there but then he thought it would be a good idea to download and install Cyanogen mod 7 and now it is stuck in an infinite boot loop. And their is no way to get into the Android recovery menu now. What should I do?. Do you have any fixes? Thanks.

Have you tried booting the phone into recovery from a powered off state?

Yep, do a battery pull and see if you can boot into recovery. I got a boot loop when I first flashed CM7.

This wants to be sent from my Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Power off device> open keyboard, press and hold x > power on> release x when recovery screen pops up> clear cache> reboot

Thanks guys, somehow he got it going again but now there is a new problem. Hes breathing all over me so i will let him explain and maybe you can help him out.

    Take it away buddy.

So I purposely went to ClockWorkMod recovery, and formatted EVERY folder in the filesystem (/boot /cache/ /data, etc). So, once you do that stuff, IS their a way to unformat everything (SDcard included), so I can update to Android 2.3.7 again?

    Help me, please!

Negative. Format means erase. No such thing as "unformat".

You'll need to download a ROM, place it on the sdcard (either with a card reader or use another phone are the easy ways. If your recovery mode supports adb you can use that to push the file.) and install it to get back running. If you cant do any of this the only other option is rsdlite and an sbf file.
