Email Policy Changing Password Settings

This might not be the right section for this, but here goes.

My father has a Moto Triumph which I rooted and installed MIUI on. The reason for this was that his phone's password settings were "Locked by Administrator", so he had no way of changing to a PIN or pattern password, it would force his phone to use a full length password. Anyway, I got everything installed and all was great, until he added his work email account, then I was right back at square one.

Somehow his work's email policy is locking down his phone. With the phone being rooted I would assume I can fix this somehow. Has anyone come across something like this before that might possibly have some tips for me? I'd rather not see my father turned off from Android because his company is enforcing some ridiculous password policy, one that they don't enforce on their iPhone users oddly enough...
