Quick question about Samsung Galaxy S and Rooting

Previously I had a crappy huawei Ideos and I had no problems rooting that phone (Wasn't worried about bricking)

I've just got a Samsung galaxy S running 2.3.3

I was wondering how I should go about rooting it?

Keeping in mind i've never flashed or anything along thoughs lines. I generally just use setCPU

Any help is appreciated

Unfortunately sometimes it just takes a little while for someone to come along, especially when posted so late at night.

Link didn't help the "yellow triangle" didn't come up for me.. oh well i'll stick with stock rather then bricking my phone.

Also at the risk of sounding like an idiot I have a Samsung galaxy s GT-i9000 not a Fascinate.. Or are they the same thing in the states?

No they are different so it may very well be a different process. I am looking now trying to find instructions for your phone but so far I have not found anything. I am going to keep trying to find something for you, I am sure there is a How-To out there somewhere if we just know where to look.

You're not being annoying at all so don't worry about that. I just don't know anything about your phone so it is tough for me to find things and know what to do with them or if they are exactly what we need. And you should be cautious with your phone, all too many people jump in too fast and have problems.
