ROM MANAGER will not allow updates!! HELP!!

Rooted my phone last night and now I am trying to flash a new rom. I have premium rom manager and when I attempt to update it says the ROM you are using does not support OTA updates. The developer of this ROM needs to make the appropriate changes so their ROM supports OTA updates. I know my phone is rooted bc I have super user and wireless tether is functional.

You'll probably need to flash clockwork recovery, reboot into recovery and install the ROM from the "install zip from sdcard" option.

As the previous poster said, make sure you have Clockwork recovery installed. It will say so at the top of the Rom Manager screen. Then download the rom you want to install and follow these instructions to manually install the rom. (BTW, I never use RM to install roms)

    Rom Installation Instructions [ClockWork]
    1) Download the ROM of your choice and place on your SD Card (not in a folder)
    2) Reboot into ClockWork recovery
    3) Scroll down and select “Backup/Restore
    4) Select “Backup
    5) After backup is complete
    6) Select “Wipe data”
    7) Select “Wipe Cache
    8) Select “Install zip from sdcard”
    9) select “Choose Zip from sdcard”
    10) Navigate to where you placed the ROM and select it
    11) On the Confirm Install screen scroll down and select “Yes
    12) Your ROM will be installed
    13) Reboot from the main screen of ClockWork Recovery
