    Verizon but Verizon Mobile Hotspot

    I followed all the instructions to root my Droid X. I installed wireless tether
    and followed the direction about setting the device profile to Verizon . When I
    connect to my Droid X with my android tablet, i am immediately sent to the
    Verizon Mobile Hotspot page...What am i doing wroing?

    You are probably not doing anything wrong. If you are running gingerbread, most of the normal tethering avenues are blocked. I believe there are ways around it but honestly I have never tethered so I do not know what they are. I have seen several people say they rolled back to froyo to get tethering back because it was just easier to do so.
