    Help! Please

    I have the Droid x2 and when I first got the device it was running 2.3.3 and I rooted it. It seemed to have worked. I try to use it for tethering and I had no idea updating your phone will make you lose root. I have updated to 2.3.4 and my phone still seems to be rooted illstart open garden tethering and it runs with superuser permission but I can not find any network connection on my laptop or my XOOM can someone please help me!
