Flash to BLURR3D

I have flashed my bionic to use the UNL3ASH3D Rom I love it but this was the first time I had done this. I would like to try out BLURR3D Rom. I have taken a backup with Titanium. I also took a backup of the rom itself. what steps do I take to insure a good flash. Like what should I wipe before flashing, do I need to Wipe SD card, or just cache. Any help in this is greatly appreciated I'm tech savvy but very new to this.

Normally to flash a new ROM, like you do in this case, you need to wipe data and cache. If you are going to flash an updated version of the ROM you are running then you can normally get away with just wiping cache, but it will most likely say in the OP of the thread where you are getting the ROM what you need to do.

Is there ever a need to wipe the sd card I want to make sure I don't delete my backups and such?

I have never found a need to do it. Definitely not if you are just switching ROMs, you would lose everything you need

Thanks for helping this newb out JSM. I think I will give it a go I've heard good things about the Blurr3d rom. I'm hoping CM will have something for the bionic soon.

No problem! And I am not following bionic news due to not having one but you will probably see it before too long. Everything else has moved so fast with the bionic I would think CM cant be too far behind.

INFORMATION: READ THIS!!!!

CAUTION!!!! MAKE SURE THE ROM IS ON SD CARD EXT BEFORE BOOTING INTO RECOVERY!!!!

NO MATTER WHAT ROM YOU ARE COMING FROM

THIS ROM WILL WIPE NOT. IF YOU ARE COMING FROM ANY OTHER ROM YOU MUST ALSO WIPE EVERYTHING, AND IN CLOCKWORK UNDER "MOUNTS AND STORAGE" FORMAT /SYSTEM.

FOR UPDATES: ALWAYS WIPE CACHE, DALVIK AND FORMAT /SYSTEM.

INSTALL THE ROM AND WALK AWAY!!! LET THE ROM SETTLE!!! RUSHING THE KERNEL WILL ONLY CAUSE YOU ISSUES. AND THE BIGGEST WARNING... KEEP BOTH HANDS ON THE DEVICE AT ALL TIMES.

STEP BY STEP... FOLLOW THIS OR BE NUKED!!!

IN CLOCKWORK:
WIPE CACHE
UNDER MOUNTS AND STORAGE, FORMAT SYSTEM
UNDER ADVANCED, WIPE DALVIK


INSTALL AND HOLD TO THE PHONE WITH BOTH HANDS.
