About LinkBacksI have the NBA mobile app that allows me to watch games, but it blacks out local games because of copyrights issues or some bs like that. Anyway, is there an app that allows me to change my location so that I can watch games from my region?

01-21-2010 09:26 PMIm not sure if this would work but you could try to turn off your GPS and network location, run the app.. see if it asks you to manualy enter your location and go that route.

01-21-2010 10:07 PMIt most likely detects your location from you IP address. If you are trying to watch them and you are connected to 3G, maybe try it from Wi-Fi, or vice versa. If one of those works but one doesn't, then it detects it via IP Address. In that case, there isn't much you could feasibly do.

01-21-2010 10:09 PMI'm sure the NBA has this angle covered... there probably isn't a way. Even if you were able to 'hide' your phones location.... the tower it's receiving a signal from would be known, thus giving away where you are.
