    I am using a thunderbolt and a dell with xp. At the same time the Microsoft tools remote access has remotely taken control. I'm just in over my head.

    if you're in over your head, then stop what you're doing, go back and read what it is you want to do. you obviously don't have a brick bc you're using the DF app on your phone.
