Going COMPLETELY back to stock -- few questions
I've got a problem with what I initially thought was my the reception with my droid; after a little research it appears to be faulty hardware (mic). It say's I've got to take it back to Verizon and get a new one and I have a few things that may void the warranty on there.
I assume the process to back up what I have now is to make a nandroid back-up and save that to my computer; easy enough. What I need help with it removing the nandroid boot, etc.
Basically I want the phone to appear as if I just bought it and not have to fear about voiding my warranty.
How do I go about removing the 2.0.1 rom and the nandroid boot?
Thank you for your time and PLEASE let me know my assumption is wrong.

I wouldn't worry about the 2.0.1 update. Everybody has that now. Just take it back.

Just remove certain programs (wireless tether, etc.) and unroot and I should be fine? I really doubt they're going to look through my phone anyways but dont want to risk it.
