About LinkBacksProbably a dumb question, but I'm trying to get root access to my phone but whenever I try entering a command it says "error: device not found" in my cmd. How do I make it find my phone?

01-20-2010 08:16 PMMake sure that in Settings > Applications > Development ... USB Debugging needs to be checked.

01-20-2010 09:56 PMYeah it's checked. I'm pretty much guessing on how to do this whole thing though so I probably messed up somewhere. I downloaded the SDK and installed all that then plugged my phone into my computer and have just trying to adb reboot through the cmd but I don't know how to get it to find my phone. Any ideas?

01-20-2010 10:44 PMI'm pretty sure. I installed whatever USB drivers were in the SDK setup that I ran. Why is this so easy for everyone else lol?
