    hacking droid x

    I had a droid 2 and have now switched to a droid x to try it out. Can anyone direct me on how to root my phone so that I may use it as a hot spot. My droid 2 was done but i can't seem to figure out this one, any help would be great.. thank you

    Google z4 root. One click root worked great with my dx and my cousins droid 2. You might have to do process twice if it stalls just be patient.

    Depending on what OS the phone is running z4 may not work.

    If you are running 2.2 then it will. If the phone is on 2.3.3 (latest OTA) you will need to research the D3 One-Click Method.
