    2.1 news and weather issue

    so last night I downloaded and installed the awesome news and weather widget but have one problem. When I put the phone in clock/dock mode-2.1 clock- it displays the temperature as celsius. the rest of the time it has farenheit and farenheit is checked in the options list. what's going on here? when it's in dock/clock mode you cant long press to change settings and when I click on the weather it immediately brings up the full page weather display in farenheit but when back to dock/clock mode it displays celsius. any one else having this? any ideas for a fix?

    It's a known issue and one that will probably be fixed when the real 2.1 comes out soon. I figure I'm sleeping anyway, so don't care if it's F or C for the temperature readout.

    That was a rumor. It's probably not coming out today. Why would you be upset about when and what someone else downloads?

    Alldroid has a version that works correctly in the dock.

    It says that only the news widgets won't work. The weather still will.
