Make sure you have downloaded the Moto Drivers.
Make sure you have downloaded the proper SBF file you want.

Power down your phone.
Hold the up arrow as you power up and make sure that the bootloader screen appears as in the video.

Open RSDlite. If you are not using 4.9 you will have to follow the instructions elsewhere for installing the patch file. I recommend 4.9 to avoid this. Most likely this is the reason your attempt is failing. Then use the "..." box to select the SBF file you want to use.

Have done this three times in the past two days, once to try a partial SBF change, while attempting to root after the update and it worked perfectly.

yea its 4.9....but the sbf is not in there

You have to download an SBF manually. I used the Full SBF file listed here under Update: TBH & MyDroidWorld Present: Droid 2 (2.3.20) Triple Threat Unzip it to a location that you can find easily such as desktop, etc, or a file location you can find down the road if you need to reflash again.
