Go to your home screen
Tap the contextual menu button
Tap settings
Scroll down to About Phone, tap it
Scroll all the way down, in one of the last last entries, it'll probably say something about CyanogenMod in there if you have CM7. I don't recall offhand what the latest Official OG Droid version is -- I *THINK* its FRG83G for the latest stock, but you'll have to research for 100% certainty.

well i hit reboot in bootstrapp but when i hit reboot it just has the m sign for motorola like when u 1st cut it on

If it's stuck at the M logo -- probably time to SBF it
