    is there anyway to download game for free through the computer how you would on a jailbroken iphone..

    If by free, you mean free apps you normally pay for through the market, this is the wrong place to ask.

    Just go to market > games > all games > top free

    This mean pirated games that you can only use with a jailbroken iPod/iPhone.
