Can't install CyanogenMod

I previously rooted my Droid following the directions at http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dro...s-version.html. Now I want to install CyanogenMod following the directions at Motorola Droid: Full Update Guide - CyanogenMod Wiki. But when I try to run sbf_flash I see:

I imagine the checksum error is because sbf_flash is looking for a stock Droid and finding the already-rooted phone.

I tried booting into the recovery from the previous directions but I seem to only be able to install update.zip from there and not the gapps that CyanogenMod recommends.

Any advice?

At OPTICALDELUSION: sbf_flash I found a -f option but I'm hesitant to force lest I brick my phone. Looking for some reassurance that it's the right thing to do.

Just install rom manager and flash clockworkmod recovery from there.

I've seen several references to rom manager but no reference specific enough that I know where to get it.

Also, you have sprecovery already so you can flash cwmr through that.

Or sbf_flash using the cwmr sbf file found in RaidZero's recovery thread in his section.

Thanks. Found it. It seems to have installed the Clockwork recovery but when I try to boot into it (either from ROM Manager or by powering up while holding X on the keyboard), I boot normally through the Motorola log, the Droid logo, and into the regular firmware.

Sometimes you have to flash multiple times or flash an alternate recovery then flash back to 2.5.0.1. I wonder why Koush can't fix this. This has been an on going issue for months now :(
