    If i root..

    can i update to 2.1 (THE OFFICIAL VERIZON RELEASE) without losing the root cause i dont want to update it unofficialy

    We don't know yet cause it hasn't been released.

    Atm it is recommended that you disable OTA updates if you have rooted your device until it gets released so that way you don't risking getting bricked or losing root.
