Hey, I noticed something and it's kind of a bummer. I wanted to install Sourcery 2.2 on Boot Manager and it comes up with the ext 2 error. I've also been noticing that most ther FroYo based ROMs don't work as well. Is that something that could be remedied or is that up to the ROM devs?

Well, still nothing on droid life. I will try to post something this weekend if I can think of something. Any help would be appreciated. Also, can I just post something through the droid life app or should I use twitter (I don't have a twitter account but I am thinking about it)?

This was what I was asking about.
Guys are all of you using the latest recovery from Clockwork, the 3.0 version rather than the older 2.0?
If so, this is where the problem lies. For some completely unknown reason 3.0 recovery has what appears to be no support for ext2 partition. I tested last night because while I love the idea of the app and big fan of GFlam, I use Link2SD and that lets me move apps to my ext partition.
When I made a nandroid via 3.0 it would not backup the sd-ext partition like it does in recovery versions 2.0.
Then I went to the 3.0 equivalent to the 2.0 partitions menu and sure enough the option to mount sd-ext doesn't exist. So if I wanted to, for example, just wipe and format the ext partition I can't on 3.0 while on 2.0 it is easy peasy.
I would love to hear back from anyone who has a moment to read this and comment.
As I can't use this if I can't access the ext partition and even as important can't back back back back it up!
Thanks for helping with any information

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm using CLM 2.5.0.1 and I was still getting the ex2 error. The only thing that worked for me was either uninstalling and reinstalling Boot Manager or running the command from terminal that gflam posted and then installing the rom.

What is the boot times of switching between images?...
No chance of cross corruption from the ROM installed to system?...
Roms installed on sdcard run as smooth as if it were on system partition?...
