How to install on your phone

Non rooted phones
Requires Android SDK
Download bootanimation and place in the tools folder of your Android SDK
Open Terminal on your computer
ADB push DroidHacked.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
ADB shell
reboot
Watch and enjoy the animation.

Requires Rooted phones
Save animation to /sdcard/
Open terminal emulator
$su
#cp /sdcard/DroidHacked.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
#reboot
Watch and enjoy the animation.

All I see is a youtube video of a bootanimation and then instructions on installing it. Is this post just to show ppl how to install boot anis or is there supposed to be a download?

Anyhow so many people ask for Droid in the animations, that I decided to just make one with it by itself..but added the overlaying Hacked...cause it has been

Good fix. lol, i was confused. How is the file over 9.5mb when its such a simple boot? How many frames you have in there? Yea a ton of ppl want "droid" in there. But you know not all of 'em have to be hacked..

122 frames lol...I didn't want it looping at all, just to run in the time allowed and had to match the timing just right.

I guess i could shrink it and just loop the last frame at the end and get the same effect.

Yea if your only using one folder then you could use two, part0 / part1, and have all the frames in part0 looping just once and then in the part1 folder just have the very last frame and set it to loop infinite. An animation like that should be equal to or less than 1mb. =)
