About LinkBacksI have now given up on Gingerbread Roms for my D1, I have tried a bunch of them and they run great for a week or two and then give me nothing but headaches. What is the best Froyo Rom out there now?

07-21-2011 04:01 PMI understand where you are coming from. Gingerbread has been hit or miss with me and it can be frustrating. Not all droids react well with gingerbread. Try Liquid frozen yogurt 1.96 or Project Elite 4.02; very speedy.

07-21-2011 04:03 PMI'm running chevyno1 4.96 at the moment. Project Elite 4.2 has ran really well. It has the gingerbread keyboard implemented on it. Sourcery rom is cool. Droid concepts is also really nice. I can share PE 4.2 and/or chevyno1 4.96 if ya want um? Just pm me & I'll send a link

07-21-2011 04:04 PMI've had nothing but a wonderful experience with ChevyNo1 ROMs. His last Froyo build was SS 4.96. I've heard very good things about Sourcery as well, but never tried them myself.
The only real problem I have with Gingerbread on my D1 is video capture. It's a little "choppy". Has happened with every GB ROM I tried. Other than that, SS 5.4 by ChevyNo1 is AWESOME!!
Just thought I'd throw that out there :-D

07-21-2011 04:08 PMI love Chevy's Rom but I just cannot miss or lose another call because I am running it. I had the problem with all the GB Roms I have tried so far, I get a call it goes right to speakerphone, noboby can hear me and the phone completely locks up. Its very frustrating. At this point I will try any Froyo rom that runs good and lets me answer calls like it should. UFC if you don't mind send me those links, I will try them both.

Project Elite 4.2
However Droid Concepts is building a very nice FroYo build, just lacking some features but they have a wonderful team over there and the ROM is rock solid.Goodbye Droid...Hello Nexus!!!!
