    re-purposing buttons at bottom of screen on orig. droid?

    Long story short, I broke my screen on my Droid (a855). I have a screen for a droid 2 in my "spare parts bin" . The buttons at the bottom of the screen on the two phones are in different positions. Is there a way I can re-program the phone to match the new screen?

    I use Button Remapper which may help you.

    You may remap the soft keys you are talking about and the physical keyboard keys, but I suggest looking for a free program as this may or may not fit your needs.

    Also it should be noted that this market app doesn't do anything you can't do manually, it just makes it a lot less complicated.
