i tried every root download file i can find.i unziped it put on sd card renamed update only because i have windows 7 i installed and every time to terminal eluminator type su it sasy not allowed.i tried the set cpu and it says no root access. do you have any sugestions

This is fool proof right here... Make sure you read carefully,and do exactly as it says, and you should have no problem. You have to reboot into recovery mode after you install the update.zip to your SDcard, then select option" istall update.zip from SDcard" - let it do it's thing, then reboot. Make sure you rename the superuser file you download, to update.zip - gotta have the file extension on it. Hopefully that helps some.

You aren't supposed to unzip that file. Re-download it, Leave it zipped, and rename it to update.zip then put it back onto your sdcard. Then procede to follow the instructions:

6 - Unmount the device from your computer, and turn the Droid off.
7 - Hold down the "X" key on the physical keyboard and while doing so press the power button. Hold both of them down until you see a Triangle with an !.
8 - Press the Vol+ and the Camera button together until you get a menu.
9 - Using the D-pad on the physical keyboard, select the option to update with the update.zip file.
10 - This should take a little bit. Once it's done select the option to reboot the phone.
