    Clockwork recovery mode keeps coming up

    After re-booting to recovery (using Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap), I tried installing a tether update zip which failed. Re-booted and phone works just fine. However, if I ever re-boot after recharging the phone it re-boots the clockwork mod recovery menu and I have to select 're-boot' phone. This happens after every re-boot if I was re-charging the phone.

    Why does clockwork mod recovery keep re-booting to the recovery???

    Any way to clear this?

    found the solution on another website:

    fixed issued by selecting 'Bootstrap Recovery' in Droid 2 Bootstrapper, and then re-booting phone (do NOT select 'Reboot Recovery' in Droid 2 Bootstrapper).

    Phone now re-boots normal now.

    Mine's been having the same problem. If I AC charge it, it reboots into bootstrap recovery, and I have to then select "reboot now". I need to find a way to keep it from doing this. And ideas other than what's been suggested above?

    Whoops! Tried a fix on another forum and now I have a rather expensive brick! (stuck at M logo) Unless I can somehow access the phone's internal memory to rename a file, the phone's going to be used for some fun experiments involving gravity and a sidewalk.

    Thank you JW!! I'm one of those odd ones that actually turn my phone off and night and plug it in. Every morning it boots into recovery. I believe this has fixed it, thanks!

    Thank you, JW! I did a recovery factory reset of my Droid 2, and every reboot was taking me into recovery. This solution fixed it. Thank you!
