try right clicking and hitting run as administrator
or open it from the command prompt and see what it says
i have the same issue, tried both of those things got the message in CMD:
'setup.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file
same here I have tried both ways still nothing
I have the same issue. Are you by chance running the 64 bit version, because that's where I think the problems (from what I've read).
I found one supposed solution to the problem online. It involved adding a line to the android.bat file pointing to teh 64-bit version of a file, but I tried it and it didn't work for me. I haven't had much time in the last few days to dedicate to it, so I haven't gone any further.
negative I'm running 32 bit. I can push files to my sd card command prompt, just can't open sdk
Hi. I had this same issue. I installed the latest version of Java and that fixed it...the installer opened.
**edit ...and I'm running 64-bit Win 7 and I did not make any changes to the files in the SDK.
