Battery calibration question.

Hey guys,
I have a question about battery calibration. I know that typically battery calibration is done using the typical method described in this thread: [TUT] Wipe it right! Battery stats tut

But I found a way to do it from zepplinrox, the maker of the supercharger script, where there is no downtime: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...8&postcount=10

Does this way from sonicfreak actually work properly? I got it done but I am just wondering how it works basically since this method of calibration really has no idea, at least in my mind, how low the voltage is at 5% battery life.

sonicfreaks works properly. ive dont it before. its like when you get a new phone and they tell you to run out the battery before you charge it. the only thing i dont get is why he tells us to make it to 5% and not run it out. i guess it doesnt work properly if it shuts off.

I have used Battery Calibration, and it works great! You MUST be rooted.

It is easy to do to. Once the battery is fully charged, you open up the app, press the Battery Calibration and that is it. You only run this app when you install a new ROM.

Battery calibration is great. I prob use it too much!
