ro.ril.enable.a52=1
(liquid rom has the same value)
But yours is set to 0...I'm not sure exactly what that setting does but could that be the wifi issue?

Hi I just updated my DROID x2 to pr-rooted gingerbread and om wondering if the 3g turbo charger will work. Also what does it do exactly? Does it make 3g faster somehow or atleast when your tethering?

Btw, not sure if I just have a good signal right now but I'm getting my best download/upload speeds. (I did delete the #s to activate the commented out tweaks) I even broke 2.6 MB dl and 1.1 MB up several times which I've never done before and linpack high score of 19.9...maybe liquid has something here?

What were you typically getting before? 2.4 and 1.0 ballpark?

Before it was usually about 2.1-2.2 dl and about .7-.8 up...I tried those values on simply stunning 5.4 too and got 2.3-2.4 and .8 average...I wonder if the 2.3.5 version of gingerbread compared to the 2.3.4 makes any difference too?

Are you trying to run the script created in the init.d folder? That script( and anything in init.d) is automatically run at boot and should work right then

If you are on a custom rom that already has an init.d folder then you don't even need to configure script manager to run it at boot, it's automatic...in fact you can just make any new script with script manager and paste it in init.d and use root explorer to match the permissions to everything else in there and it'll run automatically...for example, you could make a script to disable logging and put it in init.d and it'll run

You can also edit any script already in init.d too, like if you wanted to play around with the kickasskernel values, you most certainly can (however unless you know what you're changing ASK FIRST lol)
