mount: can't read /etc/fstab: No such file or directory
# mount -t /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 /data/sdext2

This is what I get when I try this. I've tried mmcblk0p2, 0p3, and 0p4, nothing. Not sure if there even is a 4. Hey rck I downgraded to 1.18.4 and still nothing. Reboot maybe? What exact version are you on? Rather, what does cm7 come stock with?? I'm pretty sure busybox 1.19 caused my link2sd to break. Mount script error everytime I open it. Used to just open it,hit menu, hot reboot, then all the apps would reappear. Not this time. No idea what's going on. Or why it says no such file or directory when I try insmod /system/lib/modules/ext4.ko when I can clearly see it does exist. Ahhhhhh, headaches.

Ok go to advanced settings in swapper and delete the busy box location and try again, worked for me anyway. Chevyno1 SS 5.4

rck, you're saying swapper2 right? I went in advanced preferences and deleted the "busybox" location so it's blank. But when I open link2sd it still pops up asking which partition I have. I'm on winner00's latest on prime's kernel. Maybe the link2sd-preinstall.zip install got messed up by upgrading to the latest busybox???

The options are ext2/3/4, or fat32/fat16. ext2 mount script cannot be created. mount: mounting /dev/block/vold/179:2 on /data/sdext2 failed: No such device
Ext3 is the same except Invalid argument instead of No such device. Ext4 is the same as ext2. I had the ext3 partition running perfectly, until I did the 3g tweak and updated busybox.

I need to bury my head in shame, lol, I don't know what I was thinking. Link2sd. Swapper 2 2 totally different apps, lol. Anyway, I use apps2sd, maybe try that one.

Also, if nobody else has any suggestions reinstall your rom and leave busy box alone. It might be your only option because I think bb 1.19 definitely did something to your rom.

Right on track with me my friend Just opened up the cm7 winner00's 88 .zip on the SD, went into /system/xbin/ and extracted the "busybox" file, then moved it in MY /system/xbin/ folder and overwrote that one, which was over 1meg, the original working busybox file is?/was I think 371kb. Rebooting now

Edit: BOOM. As soon as I unlocked the lockscreen after bootup, all the blank apps on the homescreens are back and functioning. Phew! Thought I might've lost em all. Thanks alot for the help man. And be sure to stay from busybox 1.19!

I think I got the fix for the long press back button not killing the foreground app.

In /data/local.prop, find the line that reads:
ro.PERCEPTIBLE_APP_ADJ=0

Add a # to the front of the line (comment it out) and save.

It should look like this instead:
#ro.PERCEPTIBLE_APP_ADJ=0

Reboot and see of the long press back button kill works.

Glad you got it working, yeah 1.19 is bad, stay away from it, lol
