Will a factory reset remove super user from my D1 . I'm returning it on tuesday. I have already removed root but super user is still showing up in apps.

    How did you "remove root"?

You need to either SBF to stock or follow the guide in Rescue Squad section Unroot/Back to Stock (2.2) Without .sbf or RSD Lite - Droid 1 Only

Clockwork only removes " root" it doesn't remove the programs associated with it, i.e. SU and busybox.

Sent from my RZRecovery'd Overclocked, and ROM'd Droid.

Ya you need to sbf to truely remove root and superuser. You still have a custom recovery aka rooted aka clockwork.
