Now that you have tether working, reinstall 1.3 patcher, but only overclock ... that should do it. Before you do that, make sure you check the menu for autodetect in SetCPU (1.4.4a)
Reinstalled for 1000 and it did not help. Reinstalled again and selected 1100 and that did take. Go figure. Thanks again. You are the greatest (Ali, notwithstanding).
Well that sucks. I don't get why the OC is not taking for you. Have you tried manually flashing?

I was going to try to rerun your program. I did get it to install the 1100 OC but not the 1000. I had no problems running 1000 for the last couple of days, but I am a little concerned that I may be pushing the seams a little too tight at 1100 and cause damage. What do you think?

I really don't think the extra 100 will hurt anything. Really the key is to keep an eye on it and if too warm downclock with setcpu

Is there a consensus as to what the do not exceed temperature is? The hottest I have run is 105. At that point I dialed down to 800 and took off the battery cover to cool it down.

I ran at 1100mhz for about 8 hours and the battery def suffered a tad and I had some rebooting issues(rebooted randomly) performance was killer. My temp was at about 35 Celsius, but I reformatted my SD card and the reboot issues stopped. Currently I am running at 999mhz b/c i feel that the battery life is much more desirable for everyday use.

I think I am going to go back to 1000. I think 1100 is tempting the gremlins in the droid.

@justin82 Sounds like you might be better off using the wireless tether patcher program--its a one step installer. Just search for tether patcher.

Justin, the OP only has 1 link to the patcher ... use that one
