    How to Root?!

    Okay so I have searched all over google and some of the guides directed me here. None of them worked such as z4root which is no longer on the market place and doroot which gave me a virus. Also another type of do root with 2 files that made no sense. I have the droid 2 so can someone please tell me what the latest way to root is?

    I don't remember how I rooted my friend's D2, but there is a forum for the D2 that I'm sure has the answer. I don't know if z4root works, but it's available at XDA.

    One click root for the Droid 2, confirmed working.

    Easier 1-2-3 Droid 2 Root for Windows / Linux / Mac - xda-developers
