    Cant find recovery, cant root please help

    Ok so when i try to boot my original droid into recovery mode (x+ power) I no longer get the option to go into recovery mode just a big ! mark. I used to have CW recovery and had it rooted but then i desided i was going to sell my phone unrooted so under the rom manager I just flashed the one that say return to stock images( non-root) now i want to root again and i have no idea how to rsd lite no longer detects my device so i cant flash 2.0.1 and root from there. I think the big problem is the fact i no longer have a recovery system. Please help. I have tried the rsd method and the wierd one with the terminal to root ( but i dont think i did that one right). also when i try to flash clockwork recovery on my system it says i need root access. Im very lost

    Why doesn't it recognize your phone?

    Check the first link in my signature.

    You have recovery. It's just stock recovery.

    Press volume up + camera to get there from the exclamation point.

    I have no idea why its not being recognized by rsd I have used it before just fine and I am running 2.2 OTA update. I have the drivers rsd 4.6 and windows 7 64 bit (rsd is in run as admin mode). I feel like I'm doing everything right but with no results. I willing to skype do you can see my screen if I have to. Thanks

    can you mount your sdcard and copy files properly our does it not do that either?

    Did you try updating your drivers?

    Either that or use 4.8. 4.6 and 4.8 seem to be the best for D1.

    just an update: on rsd it finds my phone properly ( i think ) but when i add the sbf file i dont get anthing under the file properties list maybe this will help?

    file properties? you dont need anything but the correct sbf and the [start] button to allow you to click it.
