    Unrooted now can't update

Ok so I have a Droid 1. I rooted it with the -Unroot any version droid- process. I was only using it for the wireless access (Barnacle WIFI). Since I didn't use it that much I decided to go back to stock so I could get the OTA updates. I used RSD Lite and flashed new firmware. I went through the process of getting things back in order. I have found out that I cannot update the following: Car Home, Maps, and a few others that I can't remember at the moment. When I check for system updates I get "your system is currently up to date"

    My system info is:

    Android Version is 2.2.1
    Baseband Version C_01.43.01P
    Kernel Version 2.6.32.9-g68eeef5 android-build@apa26 #1
    Build Number: VOLES-USERDEBUG 2.2.1 FRG83D 75603 test-keys

So the question is: What can I do to get to a point where updating my Apps will work? I would prefer to use the RSD Lite if possible since I am comfortable with it.

    Thanks for any suggestions

Have you tried looking at teddyearp's server? He has the latest signed update.zip from vzw i believe.

also, do you still have SU app and such? That Build number doesn't look stock to me.

    Thanks for the reply,

    I don't have SU

Do you know where I can get a "Stock" SBF file? I'll look for the server you mentioned

if your trying to get stock rom to upgrade to 2.2.2 frg83g this is what I did when the system said I was up to date w/ 2.1

went into stock recovery and reset cache - then rebooted, and system updated

I tried the stock recovery Power- X and got the yellow triangle. I am assuming that means there isn't a recovery available?

I can't seem to fine the stock FRG83d sbf anywhere either

After the triangle, you press volume up (or down), and camera button then clear cache.

If you are still stuck I will pm you the sbf in the am.

Pressing vol up and then camera or vol down and camera had no affect. So am I right in thinking the SBF I used the other day didn't have a recovery with it?

    thanks

No the stock sbf has stock recovery.
The triangle and exclamation is the stock recovery screen. You can get to stock recovery from there.

It's a combination of camera + volume button. Don't give up, it's there.

I got it. I cleared the cache and it rebooted. I tried to install car Home, and Google maps, both unsuccessful. Should I wait and see if the system updates? How long?

Thanks for your patience with me
